RECRUITING LOCALLY
75% of our staff is based in the Vosges region of France.
TRAINING HERE
Our teams are trained inside our French production plants through the transmission of our unique savoir-faire.
LOCAL MADE
Presently, 60% of our products aimed at the general public are the result of a local know-how and are available in over 80 countries around the world.
INTERNATIONALLY
We also work closely with international partners who share our values. Our collaborations are a combination of geographical logic, the different expertises based indifferent regions of the globe and Garnier-Thiebaut’s very own quality policy.


ETHICAL WEAVING
We update our manufacturing equipment every year to weave in line with the demand and thus avoid any over-production of textiles. Our investments allow us to reduce the amount of unsold products significantly.
TEXTILE FINISHING
Water is essential to life and to our weaving and treatment process. We have our own sewage plant that ensures that the water we discharges into our local river is truly clean. The 750.000 bees on our production site are evidence of a well-preserved environment.


GENERATING OUR ENERGY
In our Vosges region flows a river which motion power allows us to produce our own green energy. Every year, the electricity produced by the turbine covers up to 20% of our weaving machines consumption.
RE-USE
The heat generated by our weaving looms is reused to heat our offices for 6 months of the year!


FRENCH LINEN
When you spot this label sewn on our products, it simply means that at least 75% of the operations of production are carried out in France: weaving, treatment, sewing.
SEWING WORKSHOP
Every year, 150,000 items are handled by our skilled stitchers who stitch, embroider and quality check the linen which is custom-made and producedin small series.


CARE
We have created a 100% plant-based and biodegradable laundry detergent to help our customers and collaborators take care of their linen and the environment.
RECYCLING PROJECTS
We donate fabric and products to more than10 local associations each year.
Our yarn and fabric waste are given a new life thanks to a dozen different upcycling projects, such as the coated fabric gift bags!


LONG-LASTING LINEN
At Garnier-Thiebaut, a long-lasting linen means a quality linen that is transmitted through multiple generations, just like the textile know-how it originates from and our common love for linen.

Le label Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant (EPV) est une marque de reconnaissance de l’Etat mise en place pour distinguer des entreprises françaises aux savoir-faire artisanaux et industriels d’excellence.
France / Vosges terre textile
France terre textile garantit au consommateur, au distributeur, à l’utilisateur professionnel qu’au minimum 75 % des opérations de production de l’article labellisé sont réalisées dans des berceaux textiles français.
ISO 14001
Depuis 2017, Garnier-Thiebaut est certifié ISO 14001. Cette certification porte sur les processus mis en place pour favoriser le respect de l’environnement et améliorer la sécurité dans l’entreprise.
ISO 9001
Depuis 2001, Garnier- Thiebaut est certifié ISO 9001. Cette certification porte sur la qualité, la relation client et l’amélioration continue plaçant le client au centre de la réflexion.
ISO 50001
Depuis 2022, Garnier-Thiebaut est certifié ISO 50001. Cette certification porte sur les processus mis en place pour améliorer la performance énergétique de l’entreprise.
